Macana fitted with a clipped-on 2000 round ammo coil (on both sides of the barrel). This makes the weapon heavy.
- An ammunition magazine.
- A coil of ammunition, usually standard Imperial 8mm caseless rounds.
The magazine coil itself is fashioned from light-weight plastic and extends the drum magazine design so that rounds follow a spiral path, allowing for a very large ammunition capacity in a compact package. The coil can be clipped quickly and easily into an Imperial weapon such as the Macana to minimise reload time.
The standard Macana ammo coil can also be replaced with a two thousand round magazine coil.
