A Walking Tree

T184, United Kingdoms of Britain
The London Morning Herald reported that a stately house in the docklands district, previously owned by a Mr. James Doane, was destroyed - along with the neighboring buildings - by a sudden explosion and fire. Witnesses from the "Lye and Coffin", across the street, reported that a walking tree came forth from the flames, "its crown alight" with "shrieking men". No evidence of such a thing has been found, despite extensive efforts by the Protectors.
