"Mysterious Ways"

A two-part Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, 3rd Edition module appearing in DUNGEON magazine #86 (in stores May of 2001), written by Thomas Harlan and Katherine Lawrence. Artwork by Dennis Cramer (creator of Mara The Shamaness.)

This then evolved into the Beyond Jerusalem campaign pack.

"Mysterious Ways" is set in the Holy Land of our own earth, during the time of the First Crusade. A threat to the newly founded Kingdom of Jerusalem, and to humanity itself brews in the Judean desert, where forces long thought extinguished stir to life again...

The publication of "Ways" will be matched, in the May issue of DRAGON magazine, by a new Thomas Harlan short-story "Pilgrim's Test" set in the Holy Land, and a Rogue's Gallery article featuring characters originally created for "Ways."
